Brendan is a Japanese-Korean-American cinematographer based in LA. He grew up in Nashville and Philadelphia before graduating from the University of Pennsyvania with a BA in Neuroscience in 2021. Originally a pre-med, he decided to pursue film after shooting a short film for a friend his senior year of college.

He is concerned with creating images that convey story and emotion. With a balence between texture and clarity.  He attempts to fill in where his collaborators are weak. Whether that is technical, visual or both. He would rather create an image that authentically captures an emotion than one that is technically perfect.
